Ops Session Jan 13th

After eight months the Crew of the WRS gathered to operate on the WRS.  A few things have changed since the last operating session, so the session started with a discussion of these changes.  The biggest for the crews was the replacement of the Dogwood and Roseton Switcher Jobs with a series of North and South bound Peddler freights.  With the large turnout of Crew for the session,  most trains operated with two person crews.

As with any new operating orders there are problems.  First the meet of the North and South Peddler Freights with the Main line Freight at Roseton did not work has planned.  Management is reviewing what happened and after a new Schedule Manager is hired, a new Schedule will be developed.  The Freight Agent is busy reviewing all the errors which appeared with the Train's paperwork.  He was overheard telling one of the Crews, "to drop off what two cars you do not have paperwork for in your train" at one of the clients.

The Crews did a great job of working with the new system.  Management hope to have things corrected for the next session.

The Maintenance Department of WRS will also be busy between operating sessions dealing with all the little items that come with not operating a railroad for eight months.  Why does everything work until the Crews arrive.
