April 24 Update

Monday night was another operating session on the WRS. This is the first session since the Bartown area has been added to the layout. Because of time limits only some of the tracks were laid in the area to allow for operations. This area will be worked on over the next few weeks. It will the home to three to four more industries.

Ed from Yarmouth stoped in to operated the layout on his way home from Montreal. Besides Ed there were the usual crew of Pierre, David, Ross, Glen, Don and Bruce.

Addition

This is a shot of the new addition.

Not sure of the name of the new branch ... Bartown or maybe Whisky Falls.

For now it will be used as an interchange track until more of the area (aka plywood) is developed.

April 12 Update

Sorry for the late update, computer problems.

On the good news front, the layout is back together and trains are operating again. After the last operating session I had the bright idea of moving the layout a few inches to allow more room for the operators. It ended up causing over two thirds of the layout to be moved. I am hoping this will improve the movement of operators around the Yard.

This movement has allowed for the addition of a new area between Junction and Roseton. More on this as the work continues.
