May 29 Update

I have not done any work on the layout in the last couple of weeks.

Have been looking at making changes in Dogwood to improve operations. It is taking too many move to pick up cars at Marc's Printing. Now that the layout is not going to going to shows anymore, I can start making changes to help with operations. Running the tracks for the Team and Reload to edge of the modules, may allow that second or third car to be able to be switched reducing the movements required.

The Exchange Yard may be getting a few more tracks to allow for more cars to be on the layout.

Hope to have more info next week, since the Monday Night gang will be visiting on Monday.

May 15

Last night there was another operating session. Don was the first to tryout the new Bartown area. It will take a few more sessions to work out how to best switch the area. There have been also some changes in the Yard to increase the Exchange Yard storage. All of the changes have not been completed. Need to re-install the Caboose track, which will require moving a couple of switches.

Bartown

This is the revised Bartown.

Bottom right is the home for Valley Produce
Bottom left is XYZ Co.
Top right is Green Mountion Limestone.
There are two tracks, one on the right is the bulk loading area and the one on the right is the bagging plant.

May 2 Update

The track work in Bartown is slowing being added. Sorry no pictures yet. There is going to be three industries. Valley Produce, Green Mountain Limestone and ????.

Hoping to have the work done this weekend, so I have a week to adjust the traffic flow on the railroad before the next Monday Night Operating session on May 14. Bruce reported issues with storage in the exchange yard last operating session.
