New Industry added at Riverside

WRS is pleased to announce a long time customer, Valley Growers Assocation, has a new siding in Riverside to allow for the loading and unloading of Covered Hoppers to service their local members. This required the WRS crews to install a new switch and trackwork.

Pictured below is WRS S4 130 switching the VGA's Bulk Terminal.

Hmmm.... Valley growers has a very small building. I can't even see it!

HA!

More sidings = more work for the crews. What do they think of it all?

There may not be a building. It is based on Windsor & Hantsport's operation at Windsor. The hopper cars are unloaded unto trucks by a blower arrangement on the back of a farm tractor. Need to get a picture the next time I am in the Valley.

The Crews do not know what they are getting themselves into :-) There maybe other changes coming because of this change.
